Europe On Auto-Pilot For War

The speeches and discussions by Europeans at the annual Munich Security Conference (MSC) held on February 13-15, 2026 conveyed one central message: The geopoliticians who continue to define policy in most European countries will keep pushing their vast and costly rearmament programme, under the pretext of becoming able one day to wage war against Russia. The views expressed by US Secretary of State Marco Antonio Rubio and other representatives of the Donald Trump Administration had a different focus, but by no means a more positive one, even if they did reassure some of the foolish Europeans gathered in the Bavarian capital.

Just to quote the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing for Ukraine, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Rodney Starmer gave a wildly militaristic speech against Russia, raving that “we must be able to deter aggression and, if necessary, to wage war”. He stressed: “To do whatever it takes to protect our people, our values and our way of life.” (Funny he dared to mention “our way of life” just as the Epstein Files have revealed to all how corrupt and depraved the entire Western ruling class is…) By the way, no one at that august gathering in Munich mentioned the Epstein affair.

Meanwhile, German Chancellor Joachim-Friedrich Martin Josef Merz claimed that the war could only come to an end when Russia would be “economically and militarily exhausted”. And to make that happen, Europe is to invest hundreds of billions of Euros in rearmament. French President Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macro joined in to announce that Russia was terribly weakened and, in a recession, “so we must, more than ever, support Ukraine”. On the integration of France’s nuclear deterrence into European defence, he confirmed that the strategic dialogue was ongoing. And President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, if anyone was listening, sang the same refrain.

Concerning Rubio, his speech was met with relief from many participants after the Europe-bashing delivered by US Vice President James David Vance in Munich in 2025. After all, he had effusive praise for European and Western civilisation, which is quite a confused concept in his head, as he cited among its geniuses Mozart, Beethoven, Dante and Shakespeare along with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones! And among its exploits, Vance included the five centuries of colonialism.

While Trump’s Secretary of State held out the promise that the US and Europe could once again rule the world together in cooperation, that could only happen under certain conditions, he indicated. Basically, Rubio called on European countries to adopt their own version of the MAGA policy for the US. Thus, he rightfully criticised the Europeans for their policies of deindustrialisation, of a Climate Change agenda which has led to exorbitant energy prices, and of the loss of sovereignty. However, he, at the same time, suggested that they should give up the Welfare State, stop mass migration and impose tariffs on the rest of the world. Although he did not say so, the conclusion astute observers drew from his speech is that those European governments that do not go along could be subjected to Regime Change operations out of Washington DC.

Moreover, Marco Rubio harshly criticised the UN for its inability to solve conflicts around the world which, he claimed, only the Trump Administration has been able to do. And it has done so by threats of military attacks, of murderous sanctions and prohibitory tariffs. This is certainly not the new order the world’s peoples need, and neither is that now pursued by Europe.

The Dangerous Spiral In Iran & The Power Of Truth
Anyone trying to make sense of President Trump’s buffoonery in Iran is undoubtedly having a difficult time. If he has had this all planned out the entire time, then why do the stated objectives keep changing? Why has a short, allegedly successful excursion now become broader day by day? And why has a war supposedly intended to liberate the Iranian people now become one where civilian infrastructure is being targeted, a move which will collapse their livelihoods and the economy they depend on?

Of course, any honest observer will understand that it is because the entire narrative is a lie, and is being reinvented by the hour. As each previous one fails, a new and more desperate one is chosen, threatening to cause a dangerous and irreversible spiral of war. However, this policy is not Trump’s, he is only the latest fool to fall victim to a series of tricks and beliefs that are beyond his understanding. In actuality, the policy is that of the infamous Epstein class, which believes in the right to exploit peoples and nations to achieve their desires – from the bedroom to the war room. The only question remaining is whether enough of us have the courage to stand up and stop it?

In her weekly webcast on March 18, 2026, Helga Zepp-LaRouche – the widow of American political activist Lyndon LaRouche and the founder of the LaRouche Movement‘s Schiller Institute, as well as the German Bürgerrechtsbewegung Solidarität Party – warned that “the world has never been in such a dangerous moment“. She pointed to the recent assassinations of Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, as actions that would further inflame the conflict. This was made even worse when Israel, with the support of the US, bombed Iran’s South Pars gas field, the largest gas field in the world, later in the day. This blatant attack on civilian infrastructure is a major escalation, with initial indications as of the time of this writing that Iran has already begun striking other natural gas facilities in nearby Gulf States. If not quickly turned around, this entire region could be plunged into a new phase of destruction, with disastrous consequences for the world as a whole.

However, with Iran so far remaining defiant and with no signs of its governmental structures weakening, the question is what further steps will President Trump now take? Will he plunge into a ground invasion and attempt to seize the buried supply of Iran’s enriched uranium (which they can of course make again)? Or, will he follow the advice of some, such as senior Atlantic Council Adviser Harlan Ullman, who urge that he use a nuclear bomb?

In an emergency press conference, independent US presidential candidate Diane Sare has raised the power of speaking the truth during a period of crisis, like the ongoing one. She noted the case of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Aguilar, who also spoke at the press conference and whose courageous actions in exposing the hideous nature of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation in 2025 led to the shutting down of that institution. Also consider the case of former Director of the Counterterrorism Centre Joe Kent, whose public resignation letter has hit a raw nerve in the Trump Administration, forcing it into a hysterical fit in response. This is the Power of Truth, Sare insisted, and it can work because “I don’t believe that human beings are fundamentally evil; I believe that Americans have conscience“. Hence, she said: “We are here to appeal to Americans of conscience to speak up and tell the truth about what is happening.

This is indeed the task for all citizens of the world today – not to passively watch, assuming that the situation is so obviously bad that it will correct itself at some point. That would be a fatal mistake, as today’s Epstein class has shown there is no red line which they will not cross. Zepp-LaRouche concluded: “What it comes down to is that the entire system is rotten to the bone. And if honest citizens are not getting together and demanding that this stops, I think we will see the collapse of Western civilisation. And you don’t have to blame either the Russians or the Chinese or anybody else, because it will be the West all by itself because of a complete moral decay which is causing its own demise.

Donald Trump’s new Regime Change outlook “has all the signs of a typical overstretch of empires“, she stressed, noting that “it is a clear, obvious fact that all empires in history collapsed; and they all collapsed more or less for the same reason, for overstretching and the decadence of their elites, and I think we see right now both phenomena“.
