After Iran launched a salvo of about 200 ballistic missiles at Israeli defence targets on October 1, 2024 in retaliation for the death of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah in a shocking manner during an Israeli airstrike in Beirut on September 27 (2024), Tel Aviv confirmed that its next target would be the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei! Now, a poster circulating on social media is claiming that the Islamic Republic has prepared an Execution List of Israeli terrorists that features the names of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant among others!

A user, named @Revenge_is_near, posted a poster on X on October 4, 2024, indicating that the Iranian intelligence might target senior Israeli political, as well as military, leadership! Although the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has not made any comment on this issue, the Iranians have shared the post widely on X! Whatever the veracity of the list, there is little doubt that Netanyahu is being targeted by the Iranian Army and secret agents.

Although a war of words between Iran and Israel continues, the two belligerent countries have not attacked one another since October 1, 2024. However, bloodbath continues in Lebanon, with the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) killing nine people in Beirut in an airstrike on October 4, a day after the Hezbollah fighters gunned down eight Israeli soldiers, apart from destroying a tank. Reports suggest that the Israeli airstrike destroyed a building near the Lebanese Parliament on October 4. As the building housed a Health Centre run by Hezbollah, at least 14 patients received injuries. The airstrike also claimed the lives of seven health workers, including two doctors.

Meanwhile, a Volunteer Organisation has claimed that four of its health workers were killed in the Israeli attack while rescuing local residents from war-torn southern Lebanon. The attack also killed a Lebanese soldier. According to the organisation, its employees were working near the village of Taybeh with the help of the Lebanese Army. Dr Firass Abiad, the Health Minister of Lebanon, told the press that Israel, having a long list of crimes, claimed the lives of 1,974 Lebanese citizens (including 127 children) in the past 12 months. However, the Israeli Defence Ministry made no comment on this issue. Instead, the Ministry stressed that the IDF eliminated 15 Hezbollah fighters in an attack on a municipal building in the southern Lebanese town of Bint Jbeil on October 4.

The Era Of MADness
(International Peace Coalition) The world now stands on the brink of a US-Russia Nuclear War being triggered not only in the Ukraine theatre, but in West Asia as well.

On October 2, 2024, the Israeli Cabinet met to discuss how it would retaliate against Iran’s October 1 missile strikes. Later in the day, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Office announced that he would soon speak with US President Joe Biden to coordinate the next steps to be taken. Earlier, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan had warned that there would be “severe consequences” for Iran and that the US would “work with Israel”. Gideon Rachman, the Chief Foreign Affairs Commentator of the Financial Times, reported with satisfaction that “it sounds ominously like a threat of joint US-Israeli military action against Iran”, possibly against Tehran’s nuclear programme.

Satisfaction, because it has been London’s Great Game policy for years to use Israel as a pawn to drag the US into a shooting war against Iran, which would then send entire West Asia up in flames. The resulting danger of escalation to full-scale thermonuclear conflict between the superpowers should need no elaboration: Israel is itself a nuclear power; and Iran, having joined the BRICS in 2024, is also about to sign a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement with Russia, approved by President Vladimir Putin personally in mid-September 2024.

The British Oligarchy is not subtle about their forecast of what they expect to happen next in West Asia. On September 30, 2024, The Economist reported: “After the decapitation of Hezbollah, Iran could race for a nuclear bomb… America and Israel have long promised that Iran will not be allowed to build a bomb. Israel, in particular, appears to have detailed intelligence on the progress of Iran’s nuclear programme. If it were to pick up signs that Iran was crossing a threshold, it might well attack Iranian nuclear sites.” On October 1 (2024), The Economist continued: “The Iranian strike underway… gives Israel the justification to deal with Iran’s nuclear threat.”

On October 1, the Anglophile Heritage Foundation published a report, headlined ‘Iran Is Inching Toward a Nuclear Weapons Breakout: What Does This Mean for the United States?’, which argued that “the United States must equip and empower its regional partners and allies to confront Iran… and – if necessary – develop and maintain the capabilities needed to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities.”

All Roads Lead To Nuclear War
A significant segment of officials in Washington DC is well aware of the fact that the current policy trajectory for West Asia (not to mention Ukraine) will quickly go nuclear, if continued. The Non-Proliferation Policy Education Centre reported on Iran-Israel War Games that they held in late 2023 – with 35 participants from Republican and Democratic Hill staff; US Executive Branch officials and analysts; leading academic scholars; national security and Middle Eastern think tank experts; and US military personnel – which found that all of the scenarios “quickly went nuclear”.

And yet, they are staying the course. In fact, the very first question asked at the October 1 (2024) US Vice Presidential Debate was designed to line up both candidates behind London’s policy of orchestrating a joint US-Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear programme. Neither James David Vance nor Tim Walz disputed the policy.

That, however, was not the case for Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s Schiller Institute, which held an international online conference with top experts from both sides of the Atlantic on October 2 (2024) to discuss the topic, titled “Another Step Closer to Nuclear Armageddon – Germany Needs a New Security Architecture”. During the discussion, Zepp-LaRouche stressed on her policies, highlighting the principles for eliminating the (war) danger, not by an escalating, evermore terrifying balance of terror – as mentioned in Kissinger’s Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) doctrine – but with a new paradigm of universal development.
