Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu decided to invade Iran solely at his wife’s instigation and dragged the US onto the battlefield by misleading Washington DC only to ensure victory. Bibi faces such an accusation, amidst the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Tucker Carlson, the American conservative political commentator and founder of the Tucker Carlson Network (TCN), released a documentary film, titled The Bibi Files (2024), on his network in late March 2026. The documentary has triggered an uproar across the globe.

Following the release of the documentary, TCN also released a series of explosive updates on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting corruption allegations and leaked footage, claiming that the film was banned in Israel. According to Carlson’s network, Tel Aviv banned the documentary as it exposed the corruption and injustices committed, as well as covered up, by Bibi for years. Those include suspicious secret agreements and numerous activities contrary to the national interests of the US.

TCN has further claimed that the documentary focusses mainly on leaked, long-unseen Police interrogation footage of Prime Minister Netanyahu, inputs from Israeli insiders and highlights corruption cases, and his relationship with Miriam and Sheldon Adelson. The documentary, which argues that Netanyahu’s actions are driven by a desperate need to maintain power in an attempt to avoid imprisonment (often at the cost of both Israeli and US interests), will help viewers to get an idea about how Bibi conspired to drag the US into a war with Iran. Even, the role of his (third and current) wife Sara Ben-Artzi is not above suspicion. Carlson believes that Sara has significant control over the Israeli administration.

According to Carlson, Netanyahu has been providing covert financial assistance to the Palestinian Hamas Movement for a long time. He has claimed that Bibi pursued a policy that facilitated the transfer of significant funds to the Gaza Strip which is governed by Hamas. He has further alleged that Shin Bet, the internal security service of Israel, started distributing funds among the local population in Gaza in 2018 as per Netanyahu’s directives. However, the Netanyahu Administration took various steps to ensure that Hamas’ military wing did not directly benefit.

As per the documentary, the Israeli military planned an attack on Hamas in 2016. However, Bibi did not agree to that as he pursued a Divide and Rule policy to weaken Palestine at that time. Instead, his long-term strategy, particularly between 2009 and October 2023, often focussed on preventing the creation of a unified Palestinian State by maintaining a separation between the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank. Subsequently, Avigdor Lieberman, the former Defence Minister of Israel, spoke out on this issue, stressing that the funds sent by Netanyahu emboldened Hamas to carry out the attack in the Jewish State on October 7, 2023.

As expected, Netanyahu has denied claims that he intentionally built up the Gaza-based Palestinian outfit, although some of his own Cabinet members are of the opinion that the Prime Minister sent millions of US Dollars to Gaza via Qatar in order to maintain a level of calm, prevent a humanitarian crisis and to prevent the Palestinian Authority from gaining a foothold in the region.

Some segments of the documentary film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and in New York in late 2024, have gone viral because of the sensitive nature of the never-before-seen video footage. In those segments of the documentary, late Sheldon Adelson and his wife, Miriam, made stark, provocative remarks regarding a potential war with Iran, focussing on a stance of unconditional deterrence and aggressive nuclear posturing.

Sheldon and Miriam said that it would be in the best interest of the Jewish State if Sara refrained from meddling in politics. They told Police investigators: “Sara is completely crazy. She was compulsive, as well as obsessive, about her pictures and how she looks. She said ‘I am the First Lady. I am a psychologist and teach children about psychology.’” Miriam also said: “It bothers me that there is such a Prime Minister who has a wife who decides everything. She tells him who can board the plane and who cannot board the plane.” She continued: “At dinner with us, she screamed so badly that Bibi told her that they’re leaving. She screamed that I’m sucking her blood. It was terrible. She lost it. I hugged her and told her ‘Sara, it will be okay.’ Bibi is smart, she simply is not healthy. As a doctor, I have compassion for unhealthy people. I treat addicts. She’s not healthy.“

It may be noted that Miriam Adelson (b. October 10, 1945) is an Israeli-American physician, businesswoman, philanthropist and conservative political donor. She was married to Sheldon Gary Adelson (August 4, 1933 – January 11, 2021), an American businessman, investor and political donor, until the latter’s demise in 2021. As of October 2025, estimates placed her wealth at USD 34.6 billion, making her the 48th richest person in the world. Miriam, who has consistently advocated for the US Government to adopt pro-Israel policies, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Donald John Trump in 2018.

A section of defence analysts is of the opinion that if the conflict in West Asia escalates further, Tel Aviv could launch a nuclear strike against Iran. It is also mentioned in Carlson’s The Bibi Files. According to the viral video, Miriam received such a hint from Sara Netanyahu. She stated: “She’d (Sara) already told me once that if Iran gets nuclear weapons and Israel is wiped out; it will be my fault because I do not protect Bibi.”
