The geopolitical situation in West Asia is becoming increasingly dire, with Iran locking horns with Israel! The Islamic Republic launched a salvo of about 200 ballistic missiles at Israeli defence targets on October 1, 2024 in retaliation for the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a shocking manner during an Israeli airstrike in Beirut on September 27 (2024). Needless to say, the situation shall deteriorate if the Jewish Nation indulges in a counter-attack against Iran!

The Government of Benjamin ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu in Tel Aviv claimed on October 2 that not a single Israeli national was killed in Iran’s missile attack. As Israel has hundreds of Bomb Shelters and sophisticated defensive systems to avoid missile or rocket attacks, the Zionist Regime managed to protect its citizens this time. Reports suggest that the Government of Israel evacuated nearly 100,000 citizens during the Iranian missile attack on October 1. Later, Prime Minister Netanyahu warned Tehran, saying: “Iran made a big mistake tonight, and it will pay for it. The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies.” As expected, Netanyahu’s statement has triggered a sensation across the globe.

Meanwhile, Tehran has claimed that Israel selectively eliminated a number of commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and foreign leaders on Iranian soil in recent times, prompting the Islamic Republic to carry out the missile attack. However, political analysts believe that Iran attacked Israel with ballistic missiles to avenge the killing of Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah.

According to defence experts, the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) has US-made F-35 fighter jets in its arsenal with which it can blow up the mineral oil bases of Iran! Some are of the opinion that the IDF could also destroy the Russia-made S-300 missile defence system of Iran with those fighter jets. It may be noted that the Israeli Forces recently blew up a unit of this missile defence system of Iran. Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has already called for the complete destruction of all research and preparations for the Islamic Republic’s nuclear weapons development programme and processes. The Israeli Forces are expected to retaliate based on information provided by the Mossad and Iran does not have the ability to handle it!

Interestingly, former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has revealed that Mossad spread its network deep inside his country after the demise of Nasrallah! “Iran’s counter-intelligence head, tasked with finding Mossad operatives, was himself an Israeli agent,” he stressed. The former President told CNN Turk: “It was clear by 2021 that the intelligence chief of was working for Israel.”

CNN Turk has quoted Ahmadinejad as saying: “Iran’s secret services had created a special unit to combat Mossad agents operating in Iran. It turns out the head of this unit was himself a Mossad agent, along with 20 other agents, who were responsible for multiple operations in Iran, including stealing nuclear documents and assassinating several Iranian nuclear scientists before fleeing to Israel.” Ahmadinejad insisted: “Israel organised complex operations inside Iran. They could easily obtain information. In Iran, they are still silent about this. These alleged double agents were responsible for providing Israel with sensitive information on Iran’s nuclear programme.“

It is a fact that Israel has been trying hard to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons since the very first day. Several Iranian researchers involved in this programme have died under mysterious circumstances! Sources close to Tehran believe that Mossad has eliminated them. According to Ahmadinejad, Nasrallah visited Tehran in September 2024 to meet senior IRGC officials and Mossad received information about movements of the Hezbollah Chief from the double agents! The IDF launched an airstrike in Beirut immediately after the return of Nasrallah to the Lebanese capital.

Earlier, former Iranian Intelligence Minister Ali Younesi also claimed that the Israeli spies had planted themselves in the top echelons of power in the Islamic Republic. In 2021, he said: “The Mossad has infiltrated many government departments in the last 10 years, to such a degree that all the country’s top officials should fear for their lives.“

On August 3, 2024, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed that Mossad assassinated Hamas (Political) Chief Ismail Haniyeh using a short-range projectile launched from outside of his accommodation in Tehran on July 31. Within a couple of months, the IDF eliminated Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah. In such a situation, Iran has moved its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to a safe place due to the fear of an Israeli attack!
