The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has found a structure, exactly like the main entrance of Ramesses Pyramid in Egypt, on the planet Mars. The Curiosity, a car-sized Mars rover designed to explore the Gale crater on Mars as part of NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) mission, recently sent some images, showing that a doorway-like structure has been constructed on a mountain in Mars. According to Conspiracy Theorists, this image proves that there was once an advanced civilisation of extra-terrestrials on the Red Planet.

UFO hunter and Conspiracy Theorist Scott C Waring, too, has expressed a similar view. Waring has claimed to have found the tomb entrance on the surface of planet Mars, which he believes is similar to the ones one has seen in Egypt, here on Earth. “Mars has so much proof of ancient alien life on it. Look at these recent photos taken by the rover this week. Two photos show a doorway into the hillside. The entrance looks very similar to the ancient Egyptian entrances in Valley of the Kings in Egypt. This doorway is about two X the size of the people I have reported finding on Mars over the last decade… which vary from eight inches to 12 inches tall,” he wrote on his website UFO Sightings Daily.

Waring has further claimed that the size of this doorway on Mars is much smaller, and it shows the height of the inhabitants of Mars. He stressed: “With so much concrete evidence (no pun intended) I don’t know how archaeologists could deny such things. I mean, archaeologists became what they are for the passion they have for cracking the mystery of life at different stages. Mars… is proof of life so early it goes beyond anything the Earth has to offer. 100% proof that ancient intelligent species once lived and thrived on Mars.“

Meanwhile, geologists are of the opinion that Waring’s claim is baseless. British Geologist Neil Hodgkins said that only the nature of Mars could be seen in picture that aroused curiosity. In fact, this photo of Alien Door was taken by the Mastcam (mast and camera) of NASA’s Mars Curiosity Rover on May 7 (2022). After seeing this black and white picture, internet users were making various speculations. Hodgkins, who believes that it is not a doorway, but just a rock, was heard saying: “The shape of the stone became like a door because of the flow of soil from Mars.” “These hard soils must have been formed about four billion years ago, when soil erosion occurred due to a river here,” explained Hodgkins.

For his part, Ashwin Vasavada, the Project Scientist at the Mars Science Laboratory, has said: “It’s just the space between two fractures in a rock. We have been traversing through an area that has formed from ancient sand dunes.” Vasavada told the press: “The fractures we see in this area are generally vertical. This particular doorway-shaped fracture likely formed in one of two ways. I think what we have here [is] either two vertical fractures, where the middle piece has been removed, or one vertical fracture, and the blocks have moved apart a little bit.”

Since its landing in Gale Crater in August 2012, the Curiosity rover has been trawling around the Red Planet, covering 27.84km in 3,472 Martian days or sols. Instead of collecting rock and soil samples, the rover is reportedly taking photographs, using its panoramic Mastcam.
