Russia’s Cosmic Plan…

Ahead of the Eighth Presidential Elections in Russia (held on March 15-17, 2024), President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin warned the Western World that his country was ready for a Nuclear War! Later, he won the Presidential Elections by a huge margin to become the Head of the State for the sixth time. As expected, Putin’s warning has irked the US, with the Joe Biden Administration expressing anger about this.

According to sources close to the Kremlin, the Russian strongman plans to establish a nuclear power plant in space! Various media outlets recently reported that he has given specific instructions to the concerned officials in this regard. Earlier, there was a speculation that President Putin wanted to send nuclear weapons into space. Later, the President stated that Russia had no intention of sending nuclear weapons into space, although Moscow has the capability to do so.

Tass recently reported that President Putin ordered relevant government officials on March 14 (2024) to prioritise remaining space projects, including the construction of a nuclear power plant (in space). He told the officials that his Administration would pay attention to ensuring that space projects were properly funded.

Ahead of the Presidential Elections, President Putin reportedly said that Russia “has good competencies and, moreover, even has such reserves that we can be proud of, which we can count on in the future”. During a meeting with top government officials, he stressed: “We need to finance it on time. We just need to set priorities. There are issues there that require additional attention.” The President added: “It seems that we are all used to the fact that we have such competencies that other countries do not possess, but we need to pay special attention to them so that they develop and can be used in the future to solve those tasks that can and should be solved with the help of these technologies.

Earlier in February, CNN reported that Moscow was developing a nuclear weapon capable of disrupting a large number of commercial and government satellites. Defence experts are of the opinion that the nuclear power plant that Russia plans to install in space could destroy satellites in Earth’s orbit with electromagnetic energy. This sort of device is scientifically called Nuclear EMP.

Meanwhile, Head of the Roscosmos Space Corporation Yuri Borisov has revealed that Russia and China are considering putting a nuclear power plant on the Moon in 2033-35! Reuters has quoted Borisov, the former Deputy Defence Minister, as saying that Moscow and Beijing have been jointly working on a lunar programme, and Russia would be able to contribute with its expertise on “nuclear space energy“. He stressed: “Today we are seriously considering a project – somewhere at the turn of 2033-35 – to deliver and install a power unit on the lunar surface together with our Chinese colleagues. Solar panels would not be able to provide enough electricity to power future lunar settlements, while nuclear power could. This is a very serious challenge… it should be done in automatic mode, without the presence of humans.

Borisov has further revealed that Russia has decided to build a nuclear-powered cargo spaceship, stating: “We are indeed working on a space tugboat. This huge, cyclopean structure that would be able, thanks to a nuclear reactor and high-power turbines… to transport large cargoes from one orbit to another, collect space debris and engage in many other applications.
