Another ‘Treasure Trove’ Unearthed In Egypt?
The archaeologists recently observed a mysterious L-shaped object beneath the Egyptian pyramids! The presence of such a structure near the burial ground has triggered sensation!
Since 2021, scientists from the Higashi Nippon International University and Tohoku University of Japan and Egypt’s National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics have been searching for unknown objects through the remote sensing process in Cairo and its adjacent areas. The remote sensing process has helped them to detect the existence of the strange object beneath the ground on the western side of Giza. The scientists have claimed that there was a burial ground in that area thousands of years ago.

Archaeologists are of the opinion that members of the Egyptian Royal Family were buried on the western side of Giza between BC 2600 and BC 2100. In 1925, US archaeologist George Andrew Reisner Jr (November 5, 1867 – June 6, 1942) had discovered the tomb of Queen Hetepheres I, the mother of King Khufu (Cheops in Greek) who built the Great Pyramid at Giza, there. At that time, Reisner also explored Mastabas (or Mastabah or Mastabat), a type of ancient Egyptian tomb in the form of a flat-roofed, rectangular structure with inward sloping sides, constructed out of mudbricks or limestone. There were various kinds of valuable jewelleries and furniture inside the Queen’s tomb. This time, scientists used radar to understand the size and volume of the unknown object, as well as the depth (where it is lying), found near Giza. They have come to know that the 10mt-long L-shaped object is lying six-and-a-half feet below the surface.
The scientists have claimed that nothing can be created so deep in the ground in a natural way. Hence, the technological advancement among the ancient Egyptians is evident. However, there is no high mound-like part above the ground. According to a section of archaeologists, the structure of ancient Egyptian prayer houses used to be like the shape of L. They are not supposed to be beneath the ground! Researchers have assumed that the structure of the 10mt-long unknown object was built by the craftsmen in advance. Later, they filled that structure with sand and gravel.

The archaeologists have begun excavation only after confirming the location. They believe that a 4,500-year-old Great Pyramid may be located near this area where family members or high-ranking officials of Pharaoh Khufu (died in BC 2566) had been buried.
Some archaeologists are confident that they could find the ruins of Mastabas in that particular area. Those were made of limestone or a mixture of mud and bricks. According to archaeologists, the 10mt-long mysterious object could be a Mastaba. Perhaps, the whereabouts of some valuable property can also be found inside it.

Everyone is now waiting for the completion of the excavation work.
