Syria Will Become Free Soon

In early September, the Syrian Army launched an impressive operation to liberate Deir Ezzor province and its capital from the Islamic State (IS) terrorists.
Within less than a month, the troops raised the blockade, lasting for three years, and freed the majority of districts and the airbase near the city, captured terrorists’ positions on the heights to the southeast, crossed the Euphrates and took control over a number of villages on the east bank.
Moreover, the areas between Deir Ezzor an Al-Tabni were liberated almost in a week due to the elite Syrian troops’ advancement.
The province is important for the IS as about one third of Syria’s gas and oil fields are located there. And against the backdrop of the pressure of the Bashar al-Assad government and its allies and the continuing series of defeats, the loss of even a tiny income source is a hard blow for the terrorists.
Noticing how successful Syria and its allies act, Washington took its own measures. As many journalists reported that the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) moved much of its troops from the besieged Raqqa to Deir Ezzor, the White House probably reached an agreement with the IS.

Witnessing almost no resistance, the Kurds advanced to the Euphrates to meet the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and restrict its offensive. At the same time, the US-led coalition conducted airstrikes at the government troops’ positions under the pretext of “fighting terrorism”.
While Damascus is liberating thousands of square kilometres, Washington, in co-operation with terrorists, is doing everything to prevent its success. According to some sources, the SDF gained two gas fields in Deir Ezzor. And it seems to be the price for the unrestricted advancement and assistance in fighting the Syrian forces.
However, neither the IS’ resistance, nor the US plans can stop Syria and its allies. The terrorists’ time has passed and soon, they will have to look for asylum in other countries, as quite in a short period of time, not a single IS fighter will tread in the Syrian territory.
